1. QPL MANUFACTURER AND REPACKAGER
Since 1985, the Chemsol group of companies has manufactured a QPL plastic polish. Used on plastic canopies of the F16, millions of bottles have been provided to the military. Meeting Fed Spec PP560B, a version of this product has also been specified by the Air Force under a technical order. Recently, Chemsol's metal polish was listed by the Navy as a polish for use on surface ships. In the corrosion preventive area, we repackage Daubert Chemical's QPL Mil Spec corrosion chemicals. For the GSA, Henkel's QPL Mil DTL 81706 conversion coatings are repackaged. Over the years, many products have been developed for the military. Chemsol 132, a rubberized undercoating, was developed for the undersides of humvees and other military vehicles, and is now worldwide specified. Chemsol's non-topical, rubber preservative meeting Mil P 11520F for fighting ozone and sun deterioration of rubber of missiles and other rubber substrates was developed at the request of the military. In tile adhesives, we forged a path for the military in meeting product demand. Recently, we answered a market need to provide esoteric mil spec paints quickly and in small quantities. Chemsol is listed as a supplier for Sherwin William stores for mil spec products. And that is only part of the story...
Supplying over 600 mil spec chemicals, Chemsol provides paints, adhesives, corrosion preventives, cleaners, lubricants, waxes, sealants and coatings. In 2004, the Chemsol group of companies filled over 1500 orders to the GSA, along with orders to our 1000 commercial customers, who include FBOs, aircraft companines and suppliers, and industrial concerns.
